Jillian Harris Canadian Tire CANVAS

You guys!! I’m back at it again!! I’ve partnered up with Canadian Tire for season TWO of the CANVAS Room Refresh!! But this time, we refreshed the spaces of THREE families living right here in KELOWNA, BC!! That’s right, we met up with some of my followers from the Okanagan and transformed each of their unique homes into more stylish and functional spaces!!

Today I want to share all three Room Refreshes with you and give you a sneak peek of my favourite CANVAS products!! PLUS … if you stick it out to the end there may or may not be a surprise for ONE LUCKY READER!!

Let’s kick this series off with a tour of the Purnell’s home!!

Purnell House

The perfect family space should be comfortable, functional and stylish. But it’s not always easy when the space serves more than one purpose!! The Purnell family’s living room is a high traffic area for three kids, a dad on paternity leave and a mom that works from home.

CANVAS was able to provide versatile furniture pieces to make the most out of the space. A separate office area was created with ample storage and a larger, functional desk. New living room furniture was brought in to provide more seating and arranged for an easy walk through. These classic streamlined pieces added an elegance and femininity to the room!

Gill House

Next up we have the Gill’s house! Moving into a new home can be exciting, but deciding how to decorate a blank space can be intimidating. The Gill townhome was sparsely decorated and didn’t reflect their personality!

So, with the help of CANVAS, we transformed it into a welcoming and inviting space, perfect for living and entertaining. We were able to define three separate zones on the main floor, including a living room, dining room, and work area. The CANVAS items provide a cool, modern look to the space, while staying true to the Gill’s style. The space was accented with brushed metals, natural woods, and geometric shapes to complete the look.

As a bonus, we refreshed their patio space, which has a beautiful view of Kelowna. We provided ample seating for entertaining, and a large patio umbrella to provide much-needed shade on the rooftop patio.

Freedman House

Last but not least, we have the Freedman house!! The Freedman’s had just finished a renovation but needed help tying the entire space together. They were looking for some style design to make the living room cohesive and functional. They wanted to build on the modern farmhouse feel they had in the living room.

CANVAS was able to add some key pieces to compliment this style and add a modern yet timeless look to the space. The refreshed space was brighter, more cohesive and more functional. We provided more seating and storage in both the living and dining rooms with rustic touches mixed with deep metals. The hints of yellow and blue perfectly complimented their existing décor while mixing in the new elements.

Alright, now I would LOVE to highlight a few of my absolute favourite items from the CANVAS Fall 2018 Collection! We used these pieces in the room refreshes and I think each and every one of them adds a nice touch of personality to any space!
