Our Home Tour Series is FINALLY wrapping up as we reveal our LAST (but certainly not least!) room of the house! This room was left until last as it was originally our guest room and then we transformed it into Annie’s Nursery!!!
When Justin and I found out we were having a baby girl I was SO EXCITED to be able to do a feminine nursery!! I originally envisioned PINK EVERYTHING! That was until I came across the Nuage Mural from Anewall (Annie’s cloud wallpaper)!! I mean … how could you not love it?? It’s so dreamy!! To be honest, I was a little bit nervous about it because I wasn’t sure how it would fit in with everything else and I debated about putting it on ALL of the walls but in the end, it turned out STUNNING!
The next thing I fell in love with for Annie’s nursery was her dresser from Pottery Barn Kids! As soon as I saw it I knew I wanted one for both kids rooms, so naturally, Annie got the pink one and Leo got the black one!
We also got Annie’s oval crib from Pottery Barn as well! We love it because it actually converts to a toddler bed so we can adjust it as she grows! It comes in Vintage Simply White and Vintage Grey!
Once we had the mural up and Annie’s pink dresser in the room we loved how the pops of pink and light blue made the room look so fresh and airy so we decided to add another little hint of pink by getting custom drapes from The Well Dressed Window here in Kelowna! The drapes are a nice soft blush pink with the most adorable white pompoms lining the edge!
Once we got the curtains up things started to really come together piece by piece … it was fully done by the time she was born because I really took my time with this space but it worked out because she is really only in her nursery right now for naps as she sleeps in our room with us.
The white wood floating shelves and the big artwork you see in her room such as the numerals print, the hot air balloon print and the “You are Magic” print are all from Minted. The chandelier (from Wayfair!!) is the same one we originally had in the spare bedroom, it’s classy and comes at a great price point! Plus, I think it fits the space well as it gives off a little whimsical vibe!
We also get a lot of comments on the Gilded Hare lamp that sits on top of her dresser, this is from Anthropologie and is a hand-me-down from Leo’s old nursery!
Annie’s change table on top of her dresser is from Maude Kids, the pink fuzzy ottoman is a score from HomeSense, the big tall flamingo is from Indigo, and the beautiful vintage rug that Peaches generously peed on is from The Cross Decor & Design … LOL!
Annie’s nursery is mine and Justin’s favourite spot in the house right now … I think we both love it so much because it’s so feminine, classy, and above all, it’s just a downright dreamy space. While it’s pretty girly, it’s the perfect amount of girly and it will easily still be “in” as she grows older. I don’t see there being any issue with the decor when she hits the ripe age of 5 … other than the fact that we will have to get her a real bed by that point!
